When you travel from one country to another, and then crave a meal from McDonald’s restaurants, you will not notice a big difference in the price, most likely, because the prices are very close, but the branches in some countries offer options that are described as expensive, and the price may reach dozens dollars for one small meal.

According to the “hypebeast” website, the most expensive meal in McDonald’s restaurants around the world, at the present time, is sold in Lebanon, because its price reaches 27.19 dollars.

The “Grand Chicken Special” meal, which is a meal of chicken burger, is sold at this exorbitant price, because the country suffers from high inflation, due to the economic crisis and the collapse of the local currency against the dollar.

In second place for the most expensive meals, “McDonald’s”, comes the meat burger known as “Charoli”, in both France and Monaco, which is accompanied by two types of mustard sauce.

The price of this meal reaches 14.38 dollars, then Israel comes in third place, where McDonald’s restaurants offer the burger known as “Tokyo” for 13.48 dollars, which is accompanied by fried mushrooms and Asian “BBQ” sauce.

In the next place, the “Big Tasty Bacon” burger comes at $9.17, and is sold in Luxembourg, then Venezuela, which is suffering from a stifling crisis, is ranked fifth.

A Double Tocinita cheddar burger sells for $10 in Venezuela, an amount considered too high in a country wracked with great economic hardship.

According to “Sky News Arabia”, the list of countries in which the most expensive McDonald’s meals are sold includes Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway, which are developed countries with high per capita income.

Most of the McDonald’s meals are sold at about the same price in different countries of the world, although the rate of wages varies greatly from one country to another.

A Big Mac meal, for example, is often sold for four or five dollars, and this amount is equivalent to less than an hour’s work in rich countries, while the price is more than a full day’s wages in some developing countries, and for this reason fast food is turning into a luxury, not Just unhealthy food, in many countries.
