Turkish authorities arrested a Russian citizen wanted by Interpol

Anadolu Agency reported that the authorities had arrested a Russian citizen wanted by the International Police “Interpol” on charges of involvement in terrorist activities. And she confirmed that the anti-terrorism teams of the Ankara Security Directorate had monitored the illegal arrival of this man accused of involvement in the activities of ISIS in Syria to the country and identified his residence in Ankara.

The agency stated that the arrest was carried out this morning, and the security forces, during a search of the detainee’s residence, confiscated $4,800, eight thousand rubles and 16.8 thousand Turkish liras, in addition to digital materials and fake Syrian identity cards. She indicated that the arrested person is listed on the “red notice” of the “Interpol”.
