Dubai Ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced today, Friday, his visit to a number of country pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai.

He indicated through his official account on the social networking site “Twitter” that he visited the Kazakhstan pavilion, and stressed that the relationship of the United Arab Emirates with Kazakhstan is constantly developing, and that its presence in the Dubai Expo is an opportunity to consolidate these relations.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid added that, today, Friday, he visited the pavilions of China and the United States of America in the exhibition, and commented on this, saying that “East and West meet and talk in Dubai, and their culture converges on its land.”

Today, Friday, the ruler of Dubai inspected his country’s pavilion, the United Arab Emirates, at the “Expo 2020 Dubai” exhibition, which he described as an “architectural masterpiece”, which includes distinguished cultural content, he said.

​Expo 2020 Dubai kicks off on October 1 and will continue until March 31, 2022, and witnesses great technical experiences and innovations in various fields, especially technology, aviation and space.

Expo 2020 attracts about 25 million tourists, according to its organizers. The event, estimated to cost $9.5 billion, has been given exceptional attention by the UAE government.

It is noteworthy that the “Expo” is a major global event, organized every five years in one of the world’s cities since the nineteenth century.
