Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, toured this morning, “Expo 2020 Dubai”, which included the UAE pavilion and the pavilions of some participating countries.
And Mohammed bin Rashid wrote on Twitter: “During my first tour of the big event this morning… the Emirates Pavilion at the Expo… an architectural masterpiece… and distinguished cultural content.”
And Mohammed bin Rashid added: “I also toured today the American pavilion and the China pavilion… East and West meet in Dubai… and they talk in Dubai… and their culture converges on Dubai.”
The ruler of Dubai also visited the Kazakhstan pavilion and wrote: “I also visited the friendly Kazakhstan pavilion today. Our relations with Kazakhstan are in continuous development and their presence in the Dubai Expo is an opportunity to consolidate these relations.”
Expo 2020 is one of the first major global events to be held since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, and its activities will continue from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
Expo 2020 Dubai kicked off with a lavish celebration yesterday, Thursday, that included fireworks, music and messages about the strength of international cooperation and its importance for the future, which is the first time an Expo will be held in the Middle East.
