Tunisian President Kais Saied affirmed that he will not be subject to “any blackmail or bargaining over the right,” adding that he had chosen another path to create a new history for Tunisia.
Saeed’s statement came during his meeting with Najla Boden, the official in charge of forming the government, at the Carthage Palace on Thursday.
He added, “The truth is beginning to emerge, and whoever wants to question and frustrate his resolve, let him know that he will run into a thick wall on which all attempts of blackmail or imposing certain choices will be broken.”
He explained that the choices of the next government team will be based on patriotism and the ability to work and achieve “away from the vampires of Tunisians.”
Saeed added, “We will not accept any interference in our choices… We are responsible… And whoever tries to infiltrate to impose his name, let him know that his attempts will fail.”
