The anthem of hope on the land of Qatar. Just before the opening ceremony of the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, today (Friday) the Israeli gymnast Artium Dolgofiat won a gold medal.

Dolgofiat is considered one of the great promises of Israeli sports and the one who is expected to bring to Israel an Olympic medal at the Olympic Games that will be launched in less than a month in Tokyo, Japan.

Today, in Doha, the capital of Qatar, Dolgofiat recorded an excellent achievement when he scored 15,033 points in the final of the ground exercise that earned him the gold medal in the last competition before the Olympics, the World Cup in gymnastics.

The fact that he finished first in the competition led to the anthem of hope being heard on Qatar soil.

This is not the first time that the Israeli anthem of hope has been played in Doha, the capital of Qatar, when Dolgofiat was preceded by Israeli gymnast Alex Shtilov, who also won a gold medal at the 2019 World Cup in the country and heard the anthem played loudly.

Will we hear the anthem during the upcoming Olympics as well?
