A Lebanese psychological study, the first of its kind in the Arab world, was published in the Arab Journal for Scientific Publishing. In reducing these obstacles and the success of the distance learning process.
The study, which was presented by a research team consisting of Professor Rasha Tadmoury, Dr. Nevin Abbas, PhD student Reem Fawaz, and master student Hussein Hamiyah, found that middle school teachers enjoy medium levels of mental health, especially in terms of satisfaction, optimism and stability, and a high level of self-confidence.
The study indicated that they suffer from technical and technical educational difficulties represented by high financial difficulties, followed by interaction with learners and the increased workload.
The study also showed that middle school teachers with low levels of educational difficulties enjoy good mental health, pointing out that public school teachers suffer from educational difficulties more than their counterparts in private schools, with no differences in levels of educational difficulties due to the number of years of experience.
According to the study, teachers who did not receive any training courses in the foundations of distance education had more educational difficulties than their counterparts.
It is noteworthy that the research sample consisted of 1209 middle school teachers from various Lebanese governorates.
