Aluminum prices rose during trading, today, Friday, as the price of the metal exceeded the level of 3,200 dollars per ton, for the first time since 2008.

And at 12:15 pm GMT: at 2:15 pm Cairo time, aluminum prices rose 3.1% to $ 3,209 per ton, the highest level in 13 years, since July 2008.

The rise comes in light of the rise in energy prices on the stock exchanges, as “Brent” contracts rose today above the level of $85 a barrel, for the first time in 3 years.
