Gold prices in the UAE decreased marginally during trading today, Thursday, October 7, 2021, amid fluctuations in the prices of the yellow metal in global markets and their tendency to rise, and prices also declined in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

The price of gold in the UAE

The price of a gram of 24-carat gold in the UAE decreased during today’s trading to 208.37 dirhams, compared to 208.45 dirhams at the end of Wednesday, a decrease of 0.04%.

As for 22 carats, the price of a gram was 191.01 dirhams, and 21 carats amounted to about 182.33 dirhams per gram.

The price of a gram of 18 karat gold was 156.28 dirhams, and a gram of 14 karat gold amounted to 121.55 dirhams.

The price of gold in Saudi Arabia

The price of a gram of 24-carat gold fell during today’s trading in Saudi Arabia to 212.74 riyals, compared to 212.94 riyals at the end of Wednesday, a marginal decline of 0.09%.

The price of a gram of 18 karat gold was 159.56 riyals, and a gram of 14 karat gold amounted to 124.10 riyals.

The price of gold in Egypt

Likewise, the price of a gram of 24-carat gold fell during today’s trading in Egypt to 882 pounds, compared to 890.57 pounds at the end of Wednesday, a decline of 0.9%.

A gram of 22 carat gold scored about 809 pounds, and 21 carats amounted to about 772 pounds per gram.

The price of a gram of 18-carat gold amounted to 662 pounds, and a gram of 14-carat gold amounted to 515 pounds.

Gold varies on several karats, classified according to the percentage of gold in each kilo, the most expensive of which is 24 carats, as it has the highest percentage of gold in it, which is 99%, and the cost of gold manufacturing is added to the gram’s price, and it varies from one company to another, and between the products of one company.
