The Shabab Al Sahel team statement added, “You will be missed by the streets of Al-Hara, its stadium, and the generations who raised it with the highest meanings of loyalty, sincerity and sportsmanship. All the corridors of the club that loved your presence and embraced your prayers will cry.”

“Al-Hajj” Hammoud, as he is nicknamed in the football street, is considered an “icon” for Lebanese football, as he was the striker of the Nejmeh team between the eighties and the nineties. Lebanese national team.

The departure of coach Mahmoud Hammoud comes in light of the establishment of the “Arab Cup” in Qatar, a tournament in which he previously participated and scored a goal for Lebanon against Saudi Arabia in the 1988 edition, which Jordan hosted at the time.
