According to the data of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, Egypt’s imports of live cows and buffaloes recorded about 30 million and 527 thousand dollars, while it was 19 million and 704 thousand dollars in August 2020, an increase It amounted to about 10 million and 823 thousand dollars.

Data from the Statistics Authority said that the imports of live cows and buffaloes came within the list of Egyptian imports of non-durable consumer goods, whose total value amounted to about one billion and 76 million dollars last August, compared to one billion and 197 thousand dollars in the same month in 2020, a decrease of about 121 One million and 339 thousand dollars.

The list of imports of non-durable consumer goods included both fresh apples, with a value of 18 million and 402 thousand dollars last August, compared to 12 million and 803 thousand dollars in the same month in 2020, an increase of about 5 million and 599 thousand dollars, in addition to lentil imports amounting to one million dollars. And 292 thousand dollars last August, compared to 4 million and 835 thousand dollars in the same month in 2020, a decrease of 3 million and 543 thousand dollars, then tea imports amounted to 2 million and 709 thousand dollars, compared to 22 million and 773 thousand dollars during the comparison period, a decrease of 20 Million dollars.
