He continued, “I can hardly believe that a year has passed since his death, and that he is no longer visible. I wish he was there to watch the Argentina national team win the America’s Cup after a long absence.”
And about his disbelief at the idea of his death easily, the former Barcelona star said: “You think that you will see him again, as if you see him on the screen of one of the stations in an interview, or to make a statement on a case, although long days have passed since his departure, but the severity of his death still affects It’s as if he died yesterday.”
He concluded, “I will always remember the best memories we shared together, as I was very lucky to have spent so many times with him.”
Maradona, who was crowned the World Cup in Mexico in 1986 and one of the greatest players in the history of football, died at the age of 60 of a heart attack, just weeks after he underwent brain surgery after suffering a blood clot.

Maradona was appointed in October 2008 as coach of the Argentine national team, and despite his great stars, including Lionel Messi, his team suffered in the 2010 World Cup, losing 4-0 to Germany in the quarter-finals and was eventually sacked.
