The American network “CNN” showed a video clip showing one of its broadcasters eating the popular falafel with Jordanian Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, half-brother of Jordanian King Abdullah II.
The American network stated that its announcer, Richard Quest, traveled to the Jordanian capital, Amman, known in Roman times as “Philadelphia”, a name that means “the city of brotherly love.”
The American broadcaster explored the vibrant streets of the capital with Jordan’s Prince Ali bin Al Hussein and his wife Princess Rym Ali.
The announcer described his arrival in the Jordanian capital as reaching the crossroads of the world, as the Jordanian street contains a strong fabric made up of various social classes and strata, and above all of them the Hashemites have ruled the country for more than 100 years.
Jordanian Prince Ali bin Al Hussein accompanied the American broadcaster on a tour of Amman, which is one of the oldest and most ancient cities in the world. During the tour, the prince accompanied his guest to one of the oldest falafel restaurants in the city, during which announcer Quest enjoyed the taste of falafel.
Quest praised the ease of access to members of the royal family in Jordan, unlike the royal families and rulers in most countries of the world, which was evident in the prince standing in the middle of the street and allowing citizens to take “selfie” pictures with him.
