Saudi Arabia expresses its rejection of the offensive statements of the Minister of Information of Lebanon

Today, Wednesday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it had summoned the ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to the Kingdom and handed him an official protest note against the statements of the Lebanese Minister of Information, George Kordahi, regarding the Yemeni crisis.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said, in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency “SPA”, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its regret over the abusive statements issued by the Lebanese Minister of Information towards the Kingdom and the countries of the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen, which are a clear bias to the terrorist Houthi militia that threatens the security and stability of the region.” .
The statement added, “Given the repercussions of these offensive statements on the relations between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Lebanese ambassador to the Kingdom today and handed him an official protest note in this regard.”
