Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aty, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, confirmed that his previous visit to Gabon, accompanied by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, contributed to the consolidation of relations between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of developing cooperation in the field of water resources, indicating Egypt’s readiness to provide all aspects of support required for the State of Gabon in the field of water. .

This came during a meeting held by the Minister of Irrigation with Alain Claude, Minister of Water and Energy of the State of Gabon, on the sidelines of the activities of the Fourth Cairo Water Week.

About 1,000 participants, 300 international speakers, and 50 organizations working in the water field, as well as official delegations, participate in the activities of the Cairo Water Week.

The week’s activities included the organization of several high-level sessions, including the “United Nations Conference for the Mid-Term Comprehensive Review of the 2023 Water Decade”, the joint meeting of the Ministers of Water and Agriculture in the Arab countries, and the joint meeting of senior officials in the Ministries of Water and Agriculture for a number of Arab countries.
