The Egyptian Embassy in Wellington, in cooperation with the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs, held a round table dialogue on the latest developments in development efforts in Egypt.

The Ambassador, Dina El-Sehi, Egypt’s Ambassador to New Zealand, reviewed the most prominent national initiatives such as a decent life, 100 million health, the elimination of slums, and other national initiatives that reflect the concerted efforts of Egyptian institutions to improve the life of citizens and provide them with decent livelihoods, as well as the development witnessed by the education sectors. And she also touched on the most important national projects, especially the new administrative capital and other new cities.

The event also included a discussion of the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as Egypt’s relations with neighboring countries, and the developments of the Renaissance Dam issue, in addition to reviewing indicators of the performance of the Egyptian economy and introducing the audience to Egypt’s new tourist destinations, especially the Grand Egyptian Museum.
