Dubai Police launched an initiative entitled “Let’s Talk” “Let’s Talk”, which aims to create a platform and a free space to communicate with the public through a series of lectures held monthly throughout the “Expo 2020 Dubai” period.
On the sidelines of the first session of the platform entitled “Government Innovation from a Global Perspective”, which was held at the DP World pavilion theater at the exhibition, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, said that the “Let’s Talk” initiative comes as a continuation of the Dubai Police’s approach to opening channels of communication and partnership. Effectiveness with the community, in addition to consolidating the culture of innovation and its concepts among individuals and institutions, stressing that happiness, safety and innovation are the cornerstone of Dubai Police’s directions to meet the aspirations of community members to obtain easy services, and support the country’s endeavors towards global leadership in all fields.
He added that Dubai Police pays great attention to the innovation system, optimal use of talents and human cadres, support them and provide the appropriate and stimulating environment and capabilities that help present creative ideas, and turn them into projects on the ground that benefit various segments of society, stressing that creative ideas are the main pillar in building Pioneering future in policing, the engine that drives the fast wheel in the race for excellence.
During the session, the expert and lecturer in the field of innovation, Dr. Haitendra Patel, touched on how to benefit from and enhance distinguished ideas to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency, pointing out the importance of the keenness of various authorities to develop small ideas to turn them into great experiences, and to be open to any idea, whatever its nature. .
