Today, Wednesday, the Russian authorities announced 1,123 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, more than the previous record of 1,106 deaths, which was set on Tuesday.
The death toll from Covid-19 in Russia reached 233,898, while the total number of infections rose to 8,352,601 cases, after 36,582 new infections were detected during the past day.
And the Russian Operations Center to combat the Corona virus stated that 29,151 patients recovered during the last 24 hours, bringing the total of those recovered to 7 million and 242735 people.
The capital, Moscow, recorded 91 deaths during the past day, a new record as well, with new infections falling from 6,074 yesterday to 5,789 today.
Moscow Province is experiencing a similar scene, with the highest number of daily deaths (41 cases) recorded, despite the decrease in the rate of new infections to 2,657, after it was at 2,930 yesterday.
In Petersburg, the epidemiological indicators continued to rise compared to what they were yesterday, both in terms of injuries (2913 versus 2735) and deaths (74 versus 72).
