Al Markaziya – A Syrian-Lebanese-Egyptian tour of two stations within the Arab Gas Pipeline Project

A Syrian and Lebanese delegation, accompanied by Egyptian technicians, toured Al-Rayyan Gas Station and Dabbousiya Station to check the readiness of the gas lines within the framework of the project to transfer Egyptian gas to the Lebanese side through the Arab Gas Pipeline, according to SANA news agency.

The agency stated, “The delegation was briefed on the readiness of the Arab Gas Line, audited gas analyzes at the Al-Rayyan gas laboratory, and made measurements of the dew point and hydrogen sulfur gas.

The Ministers of Energy and Electricity in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon agreed in October on a work plan and a timetable for restarting the existing electrical interconnection lines between the networks of the three countries. A Jordanian, Syrian, Lebanese, Egyptian ministerial meeting was also held in Amman last month, during which it was agreed to transfer Egyptian gas and Jordanian electricity To Lebanon via Syrian territory.
