“The dignity of our community will be especially examined on a day like this”
Before the start of the voting day, the current deputy head of the council, Yigal Moeded, sent a message to the residents of the council: “Generations have passed since the last election in Nahal Sorek. Tomorrow, we will all go to the polls, including many in the previous elections.”
“I repeat to all of us the obvious: the dignity of our community will be examined especially on a day like this. We are brotherly people. We will preserve the dignity of the various candidates, we will disagree – but in a way. What power do I give you? Slavery I give you “…”
“In the opinion of the majority of the public, the most suitable person will be elected to head the council, and from the moment they are elected, he will be the head of the council for all of us.”
