ABU DHABI, 25th October/WAM/ The Committee for the Management of Festivals and Heritage and Cultural Programs in Abu Dhabi has set the Organizing Committee of the Al Dhafra Festival, its fifteenth session 2021-2022, which will be held in conjunction with the celebration of the fiftieth year from October 28 to January 22, 2022 (Abu Dhabi Mazaya season), including Mazayat For camels and a comprehensive heritage festival in Sweihan, Razeen, Madinat Zayed and Al Dhafra within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Conditions and criteria for participating in the 15th camel auction, which is launched under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
Through a guidebook on its digital platforms, “Our Heritage,” the committee clarified the conditions and criteria for participating in the camel auctions competitions, most notably the performance of the oath and adherence to the regulations and conditions for the auctions, entry times for camels according to age groups, specific runs, arbitration times, announcement of results, value and number of prizes, in addition to the terms and conditions for participation in Bayrak. The committee stressed that it is forbidden to participate in camels that are sick or infected with any type of fungus or any infectious disease approved by the medical committee.
It also confirmed that the committee’s decisions are valid and final, and not subject to objection, and that the owner has no right to withdraw after the start of the game until the result is announced.

The festival confirmed that any participant will be excluded and deprived of all his prizes in the event of verbal abuse of any of the festival committees.
The committee pointed out that the tribesmen are allowed to participate with a maximum of two horses in each of the individual runs and to participate with one herd in the camel runs, with the commitment of the owners to carry out the overnight stay of the camels in the Mazyana grills designated for overnighting during the specified times.
