DUBAI, 25th October, WAM/ The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation “attached to the Dubai Culture Authority” concluded its participation in the Frankfurt International Book Fair 2021, which was held from 20 to 24 October.
The Foundation’s agenda was marked by many activities through which it sought to shed light on its knowledge projects and initiatives at the global level.
His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, stressed the importance of the Foundation’s annual participation in a prestigious and important event such as the Frankfurt International Book Fair, which provides an opportunity to meet partners and learn about the best experiences and practices in the fields of knowledge production in general. It also provides an ideal platform to highlight initiatives The Foundation and its pioneering knowledge projects whose outputs are reflected in all countries of the world, most notably the “Global Knowledge Index” and “The Future of Knowledge Report”, which we are working on with the United Nations Development Program, the strategic partner of the Foundation.
During the days of the exhibition, the Foundation’s pavilion received many visitors of different nationalities and interests. They were received by members of the Foundation’s delegation headed by Jamal bin Huwaireb. At the forefront of the visitors of the pavilion was His Excellency Hafsa Al-Ulama, the State’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany. She toured the Foundation’s pavilion and expressed her admiration for the knowledge projects and initiatives launched by Enterprise.
Jamal bin Huwaireb also received at the Foundation’s pavilion Jürgen Boss, Director of the Frankfurt International Book Fair, and discussed with him common issues of mutual interest.
The Foundation’s delegation also promoted Expo 2020 Dubai, where visitors learned about the importance of the exhibition, which represents an opportunity to develop commercial partnerships between about 192 countries participating in the exhibition through their government and commercial sectors, small and medium enterprises, as well as companies.
During the days of the exhibition, the Foundation’s delegation received many participants, visitors and exhibitors, who toured the Foundation’s platform and viewed samples of the products of the Dubai International Writing Program. for the book.
The Foundation’s pavilion hosted lengthy meetings of translators, coordinators and activists in knowledge affairs worldwide with members of the Foundation’s delegation, who exchanged ideas and information with them on the latest and easiest ways for further knowledge cooperation that serves the community inside and outside the UAE.
