Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, the Emirates National Arabian Horse Championship will start at 2:00 pm tomorrow, which will last for 4 days at the Grand Hall of the Boudheeb Equestrian Academy . The championship is organized by the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, under the direct supervision of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Championship.

The competitions are held in accordance with the laws of the European Organization for the Beauty of Thoroughbred Arabian Horses “Ekaho”, with the participation of 433 purebred Arabian horses belonging to about 204 owners. The association allocated rewarding financial prizes to the winning champions, in addition to the Emirates Cup encouragement award for male and female citizens, which includes many categories, namely the best owner and horse breeder, the best female horse owner, and financial prizes for the best model, owner and breeder, with additional financial prizes allotted to horses that achieve their goals. After the seventh place for the six participating categories.

The activities of the first day of the championship start at 2:00 pm in the one-year-old filly category, which is divided into 4 runs /a, b, c, d /, followed by the runs of the second category for two-year-old fillies, /a, b/.

He explained that this version of the national championship coincides with the celebrations of the UAE in the fiftieth year, which constitutes an important station to remember and celebrate the achievements over the past five decades because it has placed our country in a prominent position at the regional and global levels, and it is an occasion to renew the resolve and determination to continue giving. Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan said the Emirates National Championship always aims to support national owners and breeders, and this year’s edition is characterized by financial prizes, as their value has been raised in the target groups, which include owners and exhibitors, with the addition of an award for the first time for women horse owners to encourage them. . He added that the association seeks to empower citizens in the activity of purebred Arabian horses in all its fields, whether supporting owners and breeders, or contributing to the development of the capabilities of exhibitors as well as workers in technical fields related to the organization, to refine a qualified national cadre capable of managing this activity, and the award for the best exhibitor, owner and citizen breeder whose goal is to Encouraging owners to train and display their horses themselves to gain more experience and knowledge.
