Egyptian preacher and academic Mabrouk Attia commented on the “hashtag” circulating demand for his suspension.
Attia said in a live broadcast on “Facebook” that during last Wednesday’s meeting, a woman spoke to him, who was beaten by her husband with a knife, and so on.
He added that he responded with a response that satisfies God Almighty, stressing that “every word I replied has evidence in the Sunnah, for the absence of a husband.”
He added that he asked the girl about the advantages of her husband, and she replied that he brings her the best and best food, pointing out that in the same episode and before the end, every man demanded to kiss his wife’s head and be kind to her.
He continued that he was the only one who interpreted God Almighty’s saying that “men are the guardians of women”, that they are servants of women, based on them, that he is quick to take care of them, that is, he hastens in her work and assistance.
He pointed out that people are hunting for a word and leaving thousands of words and using them as “hashtags”: “They do not find fault with roses. They said, blush.”
Sheikh Mubarak Attia added that the public wants the person to curse and help the quarrel, stressing: “I have been on the screen for 40 years by saying, “Fear God in women.”
In his speech, he stated that the Prophet Muhammad recommended women in his farewell sermon.
