The Public Relations Division of the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces indicated that “recently, there have been several thefts that affected electric wires belonging to Electricité du Liban.

As a result of the intensive investigations and investigations carried out by the Zahle Judicial Detachment in the Judicial Police Unit, it obtained information about the sale and purchase of a large quantity of stolen wires, about 700 kg, inside one of the scrapyards in the Bekaa Valley of Rawda.”

And the directorate continued in a statement, “Accordingly, a patrol of this detachment raided it and arrested:

NS. j. (born in 1969, Lebanese) loot carrier

And seized the stolen goods, which were packed in bags and hidden in a container, and the second detainee was found in possession of an amount of $15,000, part of which was to be used in the purchase process, in addition to the seizure of a pickup belonging to the latter who was about to use it to transport the goods to a focus in Tripoli.

The report stated, “After follow-up, the Zahle Judicial Detachment was able to arrest:

NS. NS. (born in 1985, Lebanese)

NS. x. (born in 1983, Syrian) owners of a scrapyard in Derzon

They are suspected of a stolen purchase.

And he added, “The seizures were handed over to the Zahle Electricity Company, and the detainees were deposited with the competent judiciary, based on his advice, and two search and investigation reports were circulated against two people for the crime of stealing electrical wires.”
