We will not leave the Lebanese people alone

The US Embassy in Beirut announced that Ambassador Dorothy Shea attended the inauguration of the Pop-Up Spaces program in Sidon, noting that “over the course of a year, this program implemented by Tatweer Baladna Association will empower young people and young professionals in southern Lebanon, the north and the Bekaa through training on Civic Education, Social Entrepreneurship, and Practical Activities.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Shea said: “The experience of the Pop-Up American spaces is the best proof that we present to our Lebanese friends that we will not leave the Lebanese people alone, especially in this difficult economic period, but will not hesitate to meet them wherever they are.”

She added: “We consider this event today as an additional step we are taking on the long journey that we have committed to you and to our partnership together. I thank here the young people who will participate in the training programs and activities that will take place under the auspices of the Pop-Up that we are launching today, and I can only commend the youth’s enthusiasm and commitment And I can’t wait to see what they will do with the skills they will develop thanks to this programme.”
