New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern continued a press conference (Friday), after an earthquake struck her country during the conference.

Ardern was distracted by the earthquake for a few seconds, and then she continued the conference, apologizing to the reporter she was talking to before the earthquake.

The Prime Minister indicated that what happened distracted her, and asked the reporter to repeat the question she had posed during the conference, which dealt with talking about the Corona pandemic.

It is noteworthy that the strength of the earthquake that hit the New Zealand capital, “Wellington”, was 5.9 on the Richter scale, and did not cause any casualties or material damage.
