Amal Fouad, the former technical director of the UAE women’s football team, Al-Ain, confirmed that there is a failure of the Football Association in paying attention to women’s football in Egypt.

Amani added, in statements to the Evening On program, which is broadcast on Ontime Sport channel, that the Football Association does not care about women’s football despite the arrival of support for the game from the International Federation, this is in contrast to the absence of the team’s support, saying: “The team did not receive support in the Arab Championship and others.”

The former Emirati coach of Al Ain said that Egypt has a very large base of women’s football, starting from the first class to the fourth.

She indicated that the team needs to win protection in the return match against Tony in the African Nations, even if the team loses and does not qualify, it must play a strong match to restore consideration.

Egypt’s national under-23 women’s football team defeated its Tunisian counterpart 6/2 in the match that brought them together at Petrosport Stadium in the second leg of the upcoming African Nations Cup qualifiers, scheduled to be held in Morocco.

It is scheduled to meet the Egyptian national team against Tunisia in the return match next week.
