Engineer Faraj Amer, president of Smouha Club, a candidate for the presidency of the club, in the elections scheduled for October 29, said that he will file an appeal this morning, Wednesday, at the State Council, against the ruling issued against him by the Settlement and Arbitration Center, excluding him from the list of candidates.

“Amer” added in exclusive statements to “Al-Watan Sport”: “I will return to the Smouha elections after appealing my exclusion ruling, and I have no crisis, and I have the grounds that give me the right to run in the electoral race.”

The Sports Settlement and Arbitration Center issued a ruling to exclude Mohamed Farag Amer, president of Smouha Club, from the club’s upcoming elections, scheduled for the 29th of this month; On the pretext that he headed the Egyptian Company for Development and Real Estate Investment, which rented the club’s VIP hall in violation of the club’s statute.

The Sports Settlement and Arbitration Center also issued a ruling excluding Mohamed Mujahid from running for the presidency of Smouha Club during the elections scheduled for the 29th of this month. The Center for Settlement and Arbitration granted Faraj Amer and Mujahid the eligibility to appeal the ruling in the State Council.

Engineer Mohamed Farag Amer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Smouha Club, called on the Executive Office of the Premier League Clubs, headed by Ahmed Diab, to manage the arbitration file, and not to allow the Football Association to take over this file.

During the last period, the Premier League Clubs Association announced the start of the competition on October 25, with the usual competition system of the first and second rounds, and 34 rounds were entered. The dates of the first 8 rounds of the championship were also announced, with the fans allowed to return and the attendance of 2,000 spectators, at a rate of one thousand for each team.

The Association of Clubs will announce the rest of the dates of the rounds after the end of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
