The average exchange rate of the European euro rose against the Egyptian pound, today, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, in the transactions of banks and exchange companies.

The highest price of the Euro in Egypt

The average price of the European euro, at the Central Bank of Egypt, increased to 18.23 pounds for purchase, and 18.35 pounds for sale.

According to the “Al-Ain News” survey, on prices in 23 banks, the average price of the euro was recorded at 18.18 pounds for purchase, and 18.36 pounds for sale.

The highest price of the euro came in Egypt, at 18.25 pounds for purchase, and 18.42 pounds for sale, at Blom Bank Egypt.

The lowest price for the euro came at 18.13 pounds for purchase, and 18.28 pounds for sale, at the Egyptian Arab Land Bank.

The euro in the National Bank of Egypt and Egypt (the two largest government banks), recorded about 18.15 pounds for purchase, and 18.36 pounds for sale.

Data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics revealed, on Tuesday, an increase in the value of trade exchange between Egypt and Greece.

The value of trade exchange recorded one billion dollars during the first half of 2021, compared to 477.6 million dollars during the same period in 2020, an increase of 112.8 percent.

The value of Egyptian exports to Greece amounted to $807.4 million during the first half of 2021, compared to $273.8 million during the same period in 2020, an increase of 194.9%.

While the value of Egyptian imports from Greece recorded 209.1 million dollars during the first half of 2021, compared to 203.8 million dollars during the same period in 2020, an increase of 2.6%.

Dollar and sterling prices in Egypt

The average price of the dollar at the Central Bank of Egypt stabilized at about 15.66 pounds for purchase, and 15.75 pounds for sale.

While the average price of the pound sterling, at the Central Bank of Egypt, rose to about 21.63 pounds for purchase, and 21.77 pounds for sale, compared to about 21.45 pounds for purchase, and 21.66 pounds for sale, yesterday.

The prices of the riyal, dirham and dinar in Egypt

The average price of the Saudi riyal, at the Central Bank of Egypt, settled at 4.17 pounds for purchase, and 4.20 pounds for sale.

While the average price of the UAE dirham, at the Central Bank of Egypt, remained stable at 4.26 pounds for purchase, and 4.29 pounds for sale.

While the average price of the Kuwaiti dinar in the Central Bank of Egypt rose to 51.84 pounds for purchase, and 52.30 pounds for sale.
