The highest price of the dollar in Egypt

The average price of the dollar at the Central Bank of Egypt was about 15.66 pounds for purchase, and 15.75 pounds for sale.

According to a survey conducted by “Al-Ain News” for prices in 29 banks, the average dollar amounted to about 15.66 pounds for purchase, and 15.76 pounds for sale.

The highest price for the dollar came at 15.68 pounds for purchase, and 15.76 pounds for sale, in 3 banks, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Arab Investment Bank, Al Ahli of Kuwait.

The price of 15.66 pounds for purchase, and 15.76 pounds for sale, dominated the dollar’s ​​transactions in 17 banks, including Commercial International, Suez Canal, United Bank, Credit Agricole, Cairo, Mashreq, Arab African, HSBC, Bloom Egypt, Audi, and Al-Masry Al-Khaleeji.

And the price of the dollar in Al-Ahly Bank and Egypt (the two largest government banks in Egypt) recorded about 15.64 pounds for purchase, and 15.74 pounds for sale, which is the lowest price for the dollar in Egypt.

Electrical connection between Egypt, Greece and Cyprus

On Tuesday, Egypt, Greece and Cyprus signed an agreement on the transmission of electricity within the framework of strengthening cooperation in the field of energy between countries located in the eastern Mediterranean.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said, after signing the memorandum of understanding with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades, that “in the time of diversification of energy sources, Egypt can become a source of electric current that will be mainly produced by the sun, and Greece will become a distribution station towards Europe,” according to Agence France-Presse.

For his part, the Egyptian President stressed that “the aim of this agreement is to enhance cooperation in the field of energy,” and stressed “the importance of signing a memorandum of understanding on the three-party electrical interconnection.”

According to a joint statement, “this link enhances cooperation and energy security not only between the three countries, but also with Europe,” and “will be a way to transfer large amounts of electricity to and from the eastern Mediterranean.”

Euro and British pound rates

The average price of the European euro rose, at the Central Bank of Egypt, to about 18.23 pounds for purchase, and 18.35 pounds for sale, compared to about 18.16 pounds for purchase, and 18.28 pounds for sale, yesterday.

The average price of the pound sterling at the Central Bank of Egypt also increased to about 21.63 pounds for purchase, and 21.77 pounds for sale, compared to about 21.45 pounds for purchase, and 21.66 pounds for sale, yesterday.

The prices of the riyal, dirham and dinar

The average price of the Saudi riyal at the Central Bank of Egypt settled at about 4.17 pounds for purchase, and 4.20 pounds for sale.

The average price of the UAE dirham, in the Central Bank of Egypt, remained stable at 4.26 pounds for purchase, and 4.29 pounds for sale.

While the average price of the Kuwaiti dinar in the Central Bank of Egypt rose to about 51.84 pounds for purchase and 52.30 pounds for sale, compared to about 51.82 pounds for purchase and 52.27 pounds for sale, yesterday.
