Adwan: The elections for non-residents are important to correct the situation in Lebanon

The head of the Administration and Justice Committee, MP George Adwan, stressed that “the elections for non-residents are important to correct the situation in Lebanon, and most importantly, the return of people who left their country because of the difficult situation.”

He said, “We have taken the non-residents an important step. Instead of limiting their choice to a number of seats, we told them that they are able to participate in the elections to choose their regions and the people they know, and this is a practical and right thing that allows them to participate in what is actually happening in Lebanon.”

Adwan pointed out that “the megacenter is important because it makes it easier for people to vote in their place of residence in Lebanon.”
