Fujairah, October 19 / WAM / The President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bayo, visited the Fujairah Aviation Academy, where he was received by His Excellency Mohammed Al Salami, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority in Fujairah, Captain Yaqoub Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director of the Fujairah Aviation Academy, and a number of officials from the Authority and the Academy.

The President of Sierra Leone began his visit with a tour of the academy, during which he listened to a detailed explanation from Captain Yaqoub Al Nuaimi about the academy, its stages of development, and the use of the highest standards and techniques in all stages of training, including programs and specializations in the field of commercial aviation training, in accordance with the standards of the General Civil Aviation Authority in the Emirates. And for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Program, according to the standards of the European Aviation Safety Agency and the General Civil Aviation Authority in the Emirates.

His Excellency was briefed on the college’s programs and courses in terms of air control systems, airport management, air safety, air traffic control and other training programs.

His Excellency Julius Maada Bayo witnessed one of the training trips of one of the Academy’s students in all its stages… Expressing his admiration for the training level and the system used in the Academy.

It is noteworthy that the Fujairah Aviation Academy is a major tributary for pilots and flight engineers in the UAE, in particular, and in the Middle East in general, because it has a great diversity of aviation courses and aircraft maintenance engineering, and all the courses implemented by the academy are accredited by the General Civil Aviation Authority in the Emirates, and according to European aviation safety standards.
