Dibba Al-Fujairah, October 19 / WAM / Sheikh Saeed bin Suroor Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, opened four incubators for small projects under the umbrella of the Fujairah Center for Small and Medium Enterprises Support of the Chamber.
The opening ceremony was attended by Khalid Mohammed Al Jassim, Board Member and Chairman of the Fujairah Center for Small and Medium Enterprises Support Committee, Tariq Mohammed Al Hinai, Musabah Mohammed Obaid Al Mazrouei, Board Member, Sultan Gamal Al Hindasi, Director General of the Chamber, and a number of officials in local departments.
Sheikh Saeed Al Sharqi affirmed the Chamber’s keenness to expand the base of small and medium enterprises to contribute to development, diversify sources of income and encourage young people to enter the field of private work. Pointing out that the incubator project means working to motivate young entrepreneurs to develop their projects and take advantage of the distinguished services offered by the Chamber to overcome the challenges of managing, financing and marketing projects, within the vision of the UAE government to encourage young people to translate their innovative ideas into successful projects.
His Excellency Khaled Al-Jassem gave a detailed explanation during the opening about the privileges, advantages and exemptions offered by the Chamber to entrepreneurs through project incubators, which include exemption from local fees for a period of five years, and the participation of entrepreneurs in general and specialized training courses, providing economic, legal and administrative advice, as well as granting project products an advantage. Preferential in local government purchases.
For his part, Sultan Al-Handasi noted that the establishment of the incubator project in the city of Dibba Al-Fujairah aims to support emerging projects, provide guiding directions and provide information that will help entrepreneurs manage their projects efficiently and efficiently, which contributes to creating a suitable work environment, enabling them to establish distinguished projects that contribute to achieving Sustainable development, building an economy based on knowledge and concepts of creativity and innovation.
