Jumblatt makes a mistake in a sentence in Ain al-Tineh… and the “socialist” clarifies

During his visit to Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, said a sentence that caused confusion on social media when he considered that during the popular revolution one martyr was killed, while more than one activist and revolutionary died during the protests in front of the security forces’ bullets or during the blocking of roads.

However, the Information Commission of the Progressive Socialist Party quickly clarified in a statement issued today, Monday, pointing out that “what was stated in Jumblatt’s statement in Ain al-Tineh today that one martyr fell during the demonstrations of the popular movement, and it is true that he killed more than one martyr in those movements. It required clarification.”
