A 12-year-old ultra-Orthodox boy was moderately injured in the afternoon (Monday) after falling from a height into a construction site in Beitar Illit.
Rescuers were called to a construction site on Benin David Street in the ultra-Orthodox city due to a report of a child falling from a height.
The drives provided the boy with first aid, along with the firefighters, and he was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem in fair condition.
Elazar Roth, a paramedic at the Rescue Union, said: “Together with other paramedics who live near the site, we provided first aid to a child who fell from a height into a construction site.”
Meir Bitton, another medic of the Rescue Union, said: “After the initial assistance we provided him in the arena and with the assistance of the fire brigade, the child was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem, at which point his condition is defined as moderate.”
