The “Adel Hakeem 4th International Table Tennis Tournament” was concluded, which was held in Ghazir Club Hall for three days under the supervision of the Lebanese Table Tennis Federation and with the participation of more than 100 players from five Arab countries: Egypt, Sudan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
On the third and final day, the final matches for all age groups were held for singles, teams and men’s doubles, in the presence of the President of the Lebanese Federation of the Game George Copley, the Honorary President of the Federation Salim Hajj Nicola, the heads and members of the Arab delegations and members of the organizing committee, in addition to a number of fans of the game.
Here are the results of the final matches:
30-39 years old category: Rock Hakim (Lebanon) defeated Hilal Mokhtar (Lebanon) (3-1).
– 40-49 years old category: Muhammad Al-Habash (Lebanon) defeated Wael Seif Al-Din (Lebanon) (3-0)
50-59 years category: Joseph Chalhoub (Lebanon) beat Issam Khawand (Lebanon) (3-0)
Over 60 years old category: Kazem Radi (Iraq) defeated Qassem Jarbou (Iraq) (3-2).
Doubles category: Rock Hakim and Hilal Mokhtar (Lebanon) beat Osama Al Homsi and Joseph Shalhoub (Lebanon) 3-0.
Teams Category: The team consisting of Muhammad Al-Habash, Fadi Kiwan and Osama Al-Homsi defeated the team composed of Tony Farasan, Hilal Al-Mukhtar and Issam Al-Khawand (3-2). In the end, a ceremony was held to distribute cups and prizes to the winners, by Copley, Haj Nicolas, Hakim and the heads of delegations. Hakim also handed the memorial gift to Copley, Haji Nicolas and the heads of delegations.
In turn, Rock Hakim received a souvenir gift from the owner of “Woody Mad” company Josiane El Khoury. Then Hakim delivered a speech in which he thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the tournament, which was supervised by the Lebanese Game Federation, and it received great success with the testimony of everyone who accompanied it.
