Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, said that the memory of the October victories remains a defining moment in Egypt’s modern history, as it announced the will and determination of the Egyptian people and our great army to recover an expensive part of the homeland.
The Minister of Culture honored a number of October victories and Egyptian artists, as well as handing out prizes to the winners of the Anna Al-Masry national song competition in its fourth season, during the celebration organized by the Cultural Production Affairs Sector headed by artist Khaled Galal and held on the stage of Al-Hanager Center for the Arts.
The Minister of Culture pointed out that the miracle of crossing set the most wonderful examples of patriotism and redemption, and is an inspiring model for young people and an incentive to complete and advance society building to achieve more achievements in various fields.
And she continued, “This anniversary brings to mind the stories of the eternal heroism of the Egyptian army and its valiant soldiers, the sacrifices that drew the future for the new generations, the solidarity of the people and the support of the arts, which honestly expressed patriotic feelings through immortal artworks that are still present in the conscience.”
The Minister of Culture explained the Ministry of Culture’s keenness to celebrate the anniversary of victory, which is a message that carries many lofty meanings to the younger generations, which confirms that work, giving and sincerity are the only way to raise and honor the nation.
She added that honoring the symbols and valiant heroes of the armed forces is a national duty and a cause for pride and gratitude for the sacrifices that made victory, achieved miracles, and restored dignity.
She urged everyone to work, inspired by the spirit of October, to spread the values of pride, patriotism and redemption to achieve the desired development.
