Sami Gemayel left for America

The head of the Lebanese Phalange Party, Sami Gemayel, left Lebanon for the United States, on a tour during which he will meet with a number of American officials and the Lebanese community and the Phalangists.

Gemayel will meet in Washington with officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the Senate and the House of Representatives, and the Lebanese-American Friendship Committee to convey the voice of the Lebanese sovereign opposition to change to the American decision-making circles.

Gemayel gives a series of lectures at a number of international institutes, in which he explains the Lebanese situation and the importance of bringing about change in order to preserve Lebanon’s identity and role.

Gemayel ends his visit with a tour of a number of US states, where he will meet the Lebanese there to emphasize the importance of their participation in the upcoming elections in order to preserve their constitutional right.
