David Siza, the former assistant coach of Al-Ahly in the technical staff of Rene Weiler, revealed the reason for the Swiss coach’s departure from the team.
And David Siza said in statements to the Egyptian Channel One: “As you know, the Egyptian League has a lot of stops without matches, and this was one of the important reasons for Fyler’s departure.”
He added, “In addition to the bad consequences of the frequent stops, which made it difficult for him to continue to work.”
Siza follows, “It is not true that Al-Ahly contacted Rene Fyler recently. He is currently focused on being in Europe and watching a large number of matches, and he is sure that he will find a team that he finds himself in.”
He continued, “It is not true that Al-Ahly contacted me to be with them recently. I spent a nice year in Cairo and was happy with it, and Al-Ahly is one of the largest clubs in Egypt, and I spent a good time with them.”
Siza completed, “I still have a strong relationship with all Al-Ahly players. The relations were special, the dealings within the team were professional, and the atmosphere was perfect.”
David Sisa worked as an assistant coach for Al-Ahly club during the season before last, accompanied by Rene Weiler, before the technical staff left the team after securing the title of the Egyptian League, and before entering the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
