Jafra News – The Pioneers of Sports and Youth Movement mourned the late Jordanian captain Muhammad Al-Hajj Ali (Abu Yahya), who passed to his mercy last Friday evening, October 15, 2021, at the age of 78.
Mr. Muhammad Jamil Abu Al-Tayeb, Chairman of the Pioneers Authority, recalled the pioneering role of the late deceased in the Jordanian football career spanning more than 60 years, during which the late star played in the Jordanian and Arab football stadiums at the level of clubs and teams. Where he represented Al-Jazira Club between 1960-1977, and represented the national team between 1961-1971, and he was one of the Jordanian participation knights in the Arab Cup in Kuwait in 1964.
The late Muhammed Al-Hajj Ali is considered one of the most prominent stars of Jordanian football.
It is noteworthy that the late deceased is the uncle of the former player, associate professor in the College of Physical Education, one of the founding members of the Jordanian Society for Sports Culture, Dr. Ziad Al-Rumaili
According to our colleague Muhammad Qadri Hassan, Secretary-General of the Pioneers Authority, the media spokesperson, the authority was keen to participate in the funeral ceremony of the late deceased from Tariq bin Ziyad Mosque in the Tabarbour area to his final resting place in the Shafa Badran cemetery.
