Al-Ahly announces the presence of the masses in the face of the National Guard

Al-Ahly club announced the arrival of a letter from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) about the attendance of the fans in the Red Team match against the National Guard in Niger, in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez said in statements to his club’s official website: “We received a letter stating that 7,500 fans attended our match against the National Guard in Niger.”

Al-Ahly begins the journey of the third title in a row and the 11th in the history of its participation in the African Champions League from Niger, in an effort to achieve a positive result that will help it play to the group stage.

Al-Ahly played its last match at the match stadium, before facing the National Guard at 4:30 pm at General Seni Konchi Stadium in the capital, Niamey.

The Red Team mission had arrived in Niger at 10:30 on Thursday evening, after a flight that lasted 5 and a half hours. Al-Ahly found the Egyptian ambassador to Niger, Nabil Makki, waiting for him.
