Spaniard Ruben Garabaya Arenas arrived in Cairo, in preparation for the start of his mission with the Egyptian men’s handball team as an assistant coach within the technical staff led by his compatriot Roberto Garcia Barrondo, and was received by Nour Abu Zeid, managing director of the team.

Jarabaya was born on September 15, 1978, and is scheduled to start his career with the Egyptian national team starting from next Sunday, which is the date designated for the gathering of players on Sunday and Monday of each week, as part of the preparation program to participate in the African Nations Cup in January 2022 in Morocco.

The team concludes the preparation program by participating in the France International Friendly Tournament in January, and the mission will travel to France on January 7, and the tournament will be held with the participation of the teams of France, Germany, Denmark and Egypt, and will be held in the semi-final system, where both teams will play a match, and the winner plays with the winner and the loser with the loser in the match. other.
