Under its competitive goals to create a flexible, renewable environment of creativity and innovation towards a more interactive and sustainable future, the Japanese automaker Nissan announced its new campaign entitled “Let’s Move”.

The campaign combines Nissan’s vision for the future of mobility with Expo 2020 Dubai’s slogan “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”.

As the official partner for the automotive sector at Expo 2020 Dubai, Nissan launched this campaign dedicated to stressing the importance of creating a more sustainable future by using innovative technology to achieve the company’s goal of promoting innovation to enrich human lives.

Nissan innovations, creating a smarter and more sustainable future

Through the ‘Let’s Move’ campaign, Nissan invites exhibition participants, as well as the entire world, to join the brand in creating a smarter, more sustainable and connected future, and to think about what drives them to act such as curiosity, hope or passion.

The campaign reflects Nissan’s position as an innovative technology-based brand that always strives to be at the forefront of companies shaping the future of mobility and enriching human lives by finding solutions to environmental and societal challenges and achieving a positive impact that benefits people and the planet.

Nissan’s campaign for Expo 2020 Dubai was launched under the title “Let’s Move” through a short and inspiring film that focuses on the future and sheds light on the latest innovations, concepts and technologies, while the campaign continues to spread creative content on the brand’s digital platforms, and across radio stations and billboards in the region.

Visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai will be able to experience first-hand the campaign through interactive digital activities that will be launched on the company’s digital platform The Nissan NEXT (www.TheNissanNEXT.com) for the duration of the six-month international event.

Thierry Sabbagh, CEO of Nissan Middle East, said: “Nissan’s global experience, rich regional heritage and forward-looking vision are driving our continued growth, as we are committed to creating the future of mobility in all markets in the region. By adopting a people-centred approach, aligned with the brand’s goal. “Let’s Move” allows us to unite all our goals in an inspiring and futuristic framework, and send an open invitation to explore the future of mobility. Expo 2020 Dubai will highlight Nissan’s advanced technology expertise, regional heritage and constant pursuit of innovation.”

For his part, Mohammed Al Hashemi, Chief Technology Officer, Expo 2020 Dubai, said: “The World Expo is a platform for innovation to thrive and test sites for next generation technologies.

He added, “We are convinced at Expo 2020 Dubai of the impact of technology and its contribution to building a safer, more equitable and sustainable future for all, and the event will highlight the ideas, innovations and pioneering technologies that shape the future of our world.”

The ‘Let’s Move’ campaign is also in line with our philosophy and we are excited to see the innovations Nissan will bring to Expo 2020 Dubai.”

Nissan will equip Expo 2020 Dubai with a fleet of more than 600 of the brand’s latest models of SUVs, including the famous Patrol, sedans and the technologically advanced Altima.

It will also give Expo visitors a glimpse into the next chapter in the Nissan brand’s mobility journey, building on the company’s rich automotive heritage. Expo 2020 Dubai, the first of its kind in the region, will be an opportunity for Nissan to participate in interesting discussions and debates on sustainable transport and the development of smart cities.

Foreseeing the era of carbon neutrality

Nissan is working towards a more sustainable future as it continues to introduce innovations that enrich human lives, and its participation in Expo 2020 Dubai as the official partner for the automotive sector at Expo 2020 Dubai will accelerate the transformation towards sustainable mobility in a region with huge potential.

As part of these efforts, all-new Nissan vehicles in major markets will be electric by 2030 thanks to the advances in Nissan’s technology known as e-POWER technology.

As part of the company’s pursuit of carbon neutrality, in July Nissan also unveiled its £1 billion flagship EV36Zero electric vehicle manufacturing center aimed at accelerating the march towards carbon neutrality.
