The World Scout Camp “Jota Joti” kicked off yesterday from the headquarters of Al Qasimia University in Sharjah and will continue until October 17, with the participation of more than 150 female and female university tourers in the country.

Dr. Awad Al-Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, stressed in his opening speech the university’s interest in being present in various scouting activities, including the World Scout Camp, which is held directly via the Internet, and which the university has used to participate in since the founding of the wandering clans in it, following the example of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler Sharjah, which is the first scout, as His Highness has been involved in the scouting movement since its entry into the country in 1954, and His Highness is keen to establish an international meeting of scouts in which he participates with his sons from scouts from all over the world.
Khalil Rahma, Secretary-General of the Emirates Scout Association, said: We are once again practicing the field activities of the World Scout Camp. He pointed out that the current version of the World Scout Camp program has a global character, as many events are organized in addition to communication with scouts from Canada, America, Azerbaijan, the Sultanate of Oman and Egypt in a dialogue session entitled “Scouting and the Sustainable Development Goals” managed and attended by young people with the exceptional appearance of the global camp From the heart of “Expo 2020 Dubai”.
