A former professor of climate at Qassim University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Misnad, said that the cities of Mecca and Jeddah recorded the highest temperature in the world during the last 24 hours.

Al-Misnad explained that the temperature in Arafat in Makkah and at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah reached 44 degrees Celsius.

Al-Misnad published a list of the highest temperatures recorded in the world yesterday, which were highest in Jeddah and Mecca, followed by the city of “Ravadavia” in Argentina, which recorded 42.6 °C, reaching 41.5 °C, which was recorded in the Chadian capital, N’Djamena.
