Mohamed Magdy “Afsha” is absent from Al-Ahly against Gendarmey, while Mohamed Mahmoud, the returning midfielder, and Ahmed Nabil “Koka”, the young midfielder, is present.
Al-Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane announced his team’s list to face Gendarmere from Niger, in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly’s list witnessed the absence of the team’s playmaker who celebrated his marriage, while Mohamed Mahmoud was present after his complete recovery from injury.
The team’s striker, Mohamed Sharif, was also present after a rest period, and the young Ahmed Nabil “Koka” was in the midfield.
The list witnesses the absence of Mohamed El-Shennawy, the team’s goalkeeper, due to injury, in addition to the absence of Louis Mickison, and the team’s new deals for not being included in the initial list of the tournament.
Al-Ahly’s list was as follows:
Goalkeepers: Ali Lotfi – Mustafa Schubert – Hamza Alaa.
Defense: Rami Rabia – Yasser Ibrahim – Badr Banoon – Ayman Ashraf – Muhammad Hani – Ali Maaloul.
Middle: Hamdi Fathi – Akram Tawfik – Aliou Diang – Amr Al-Sulayya – Ahmed Nabil “Koka”.
Attack: Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba” – Walid Suleiman – Mohamed Mahmoud – Taher Mohamed Taher – Mohamed Sharif.
Al-Ahly will meet Gendarmery next Saturday evening, in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
