The average exchange rate of the European euro rose against the Egyptian pound, today, Thursday, October 14, 2021, in banks and exchange companies.

The highest price of the Euro in Egypt

The average price of the European euro, at the Central Bank of Egypt, increased to about 18.10 pounds for purchase and 18.22 pounds for sale, compared to about 18.09 pounds for purchase and 18.20 pounds for sale, yesterday.

According to the “Al-Ain News” survey, on prices in 23 banks, the average price of the euro was recorded at 18.08 pounds for purchase, and 18.24 pounds for sale.

The highest price of the euro in Egypt came at 18.25 pounds for purchase, and 18.42 pounds for sale, at BLOM Bank Egypt.

While the lowest price for the euro came at 18.02 pounds for purchase, and 18.20 pounds for sale, in the Bank of Alexandria.

The euro in the National Bank of Egypt and Egypt (the two largest government banks), recorded about 18.03 pounds for purchase, and 18.21 pounds for sale.

Journey 16 months of ascent of the reserve

Egypt’s foreign exchange reserves continue the upward journey that started since June 2020, overcoming the repercussions of the Corona pandemic.

According to data from the Central Bank of Egypt, Egypt’s net foreign exchange reserves rose to about 40.825 billion dollars last September, for the 16th month in a row.

And last August, foreign exchange reserves recorded about 40.672 billion dollars, while they recorded 40.609 billion dollars last July.

Foreign exchange reserves have been rising since June 2020, after they fell to about $36 billion from more than $45.5 billion due to the impact of the Corona virus pandemic.

Dollar and sterling prices in Egypt

The average price of the dollar at the Central Bank of Egypt stabilized at about 15.66 pounds for purchase, and 15.75 pounds for sale.

While the average price of the pound sterling, at the Central Bank of Egypt, decreased to about 21.32 pounds for purchase, and 21.46 pounds for sale, compared to about 21.34 pounds for purchase, and 21.47 pounds for sale.

The prices of the riyal, dirham and dinar in Egypt

The average price of the Saudi riyal, at the Central Bank of Egypt, settled at 4.17 pounds for purchase, and 4.20 pounds for sale.

The average price of the UAE dirham, in the Central Bank of Egypt, remained stable at 4.26 pounds for purchase, and 4.29 pounds for sale.

And the average price of the Kuwaiti dinar in the Central Bank of Egypt was recorded at about 51.81 pounds for purchase and 52.27 pounds for sale, which are the same prices as yesterday.
