The Jordanian team was crowned the West Asian Under-23 Championship title, after defeating its host Saudi counterpart, by three goals to one, in the final match that brought them together yesterday, Tuesday, at Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

In the details of the exciting match, Saudi Khaled Al-Ghannam Al-Akhdar put Al-Akhdar in the lead with an early goal, which he scored at the 20th minute of the match.

Jordanian Yazan Al-Naimat equalized for “Al-Nashami” after only nine minutes, while his colleague Youssef Abu Jazar scored the goal in the 76th minute, and Muhammad Abu Rizk added the third goal for the guests when the meeting was breathing its last.
