The World Government Summit Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with EDGE, the advanced technology group in the region, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance cooperation and expand the circle of partnerships aimed at exchanging knowledge and innovative ideas that support government efforts to foresee the future.

The memorandum was signed by Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Director of the World Government Summit Foundation, and Faisal Al Bannai, CEO and Managing Director of Edge Group.

His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama stressed that strengthening partnerships and expanding horizons of cooperation with various institutions in the public and private sectors is an essential support for the consolidation of the World Government Summit website, an international platform for designing and creating the future, sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas and innovations that achieve comprehensive development for societies.

His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama said: The sponsorship agreement signed by the World Government Summit and the EDGE Group will contribute to strengthening efforts to build a system of new opportunities in vital fields, ensuring the advancement of the scientific research system in the country by creating new solutions to challenges in cooperation with private sector companies. and research institutions.

For his part, Faisal Al-Bannai said the signing of the memorandum of understanding with the World Government Summit comes within the framework of the strategic directions of the “EDGE” group, pointing out that the cooperation of minds, knowledge sharing and achieving a balanced understanding of the real challenges facing us all as individuals and societies, is our path towards achieving tangible change.

He added, “EDGE will harness this partnership to explore new and valuable opportunities to enhance our regional leadership position in the advanced technology sector, and consolidate progress.” This comes as part of our quest to create new solutions that have a positive and long-term impact on global security.
